HOME LEARNING DURING SCHOOL CLOSURE
We want you to be able to access all the support you need whilst studying from home. Below are various resources which provide you with the information on how to use our online learning platforms. Show My Home Work (SMHW) is our main method of communication and all home learning will be set here every Sunday. Alongside SMHW we will also be using Google Classrooms and a number of other online educational software packages that students are already familiar with.
Should you be experiencing problems with logging on or do not have access to an electronic device and require paper copies of work, or if you need support with any aspect of home learning, then please email: firstname.lastname@example.org Your email will then be re-directed to a member of staff who will be able to support you.
Show My Homework
We have provided parent log in details to SMHW so you can log on and check what home learning has been set each week for your child. If you have not previously accessed your parent account for SMHW and would like to gain access, or your child needs to double check their log in details, please email email@example.com

We also have use of 'Google Classroom,' an online school platform that gives staff and students the capability to share work both ways - students can submit work for checking as well as receive it. Google Classrooms also allows students to use Word, Excel, Publisher and other programmes. All work will continue to be set and explained on Show My Homework, but some subjects will direct students onto Google Classroom.
All student login details for google classroom are firstname.lastname@example.org eg, email@example.com. Students should know their passwords, but again, if they need any support, email firstname.lastname@example.org
